Murray Family Church is involved in ministries that support our community, our world, and our body of believers.
Soup for the Soul - Soup Kitchen located at 411 Maple Street. Enter from Maple Street. They are open Monday-Friday serving Free Dinner from 4:00pm-6:00pm. All the community members are welcome and donations are accepted. For more information see Soup of the Soul on Facebook.
Pray Murray - Every Wednesday from 12noon to 1pm we gather @411 Maple Street to pray for the local government with other church bodies. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Downtown Saturday Market - This farmer's market brings fresh produce and locally made crafts to our community in our open-air atmosphere downtown on the court square from May to October each year. National Day of Prayer - The first Thursday of May, the churches in the community come together to pray for our nation. For more informaton go to National Day of Prayer.
Freedom Fest - This is a patriotic celebration of our country's Independence Day for Murray and the surrounding area. They have several events that take place over multiple days - a street fair downtown, outdoor concert, 5K run, Top Gun Cruise-In Car Show, and big fireworks show. Ice Cream Festival - This festival happens yearly in September. Most years they have Murray Rotary Club's Scooper Bowl, inflatables for the kids, free ice cream, and Ice Cream Idol.
